On September 15, 2020, the leaders of the UAE and Israel signed the historic accords at the White House, fully normalizing relations between the two countries.
Unique among the countries of the Middle East, the UAE is the region’s preeminent trade, transport, and financial hub, and one of the world’s leading commercial centers. Israel, the “Start-Up Nation”, is an undisputed leader in technology and innovation, with the most per capita startups, R&D spending, tech unicorns, and Nobel Prizes, and the source of many of the world’s key enabling technologies.
